How we helped Sulekha design and launch their english learning app
During the covid pandemic, Sulekha saw a surge in queries for language teachers and decided to build a dedicated marketplace
We researched to find out nuanced user needs when searching for teachers, and designed an experience to deliver them.
People started using the app but, this was just the beginning of our relationship with Capshine.
The Capshine team realised that the value that can be added and problems to be solved were much greater in the later phase of learning. Where a student practices their learning.
The product managers came up with a new set of features to address this and each feature came with its own challenge to design.
How do we enable studets to practice at a time that works for them?
-- Sessions were chronologically listed to choose from
How do we enable students know that feedback is personalised?
-- We designed the feedback screen with a hand-written feel
How do we make sure the user can navigate their way through an ever growing platform?
-- We used card-sorting to build an IA that works for the user group
